Dancing the night away

Ask everyone in the group to spread out at a distance from each other. Now everyone should close their eyes. Put on a happy song and ask everyone to move freely/dance without peeking.

Dancing and feeling happy to music releases endorphins in the body – and so does exercising. Endorphins make you feel good and happy.

Close your eyes and dance

We’re about to start practicing, but before we do, let’s relax and have some fun. Because we’re going to let you dance. Here’s how it’s going to work. You’ll spread out so that you all have space around you. Then you’re going to close your eyes and I’m going to put on some music.

Feel it and dance if you feel like it. It’s important that we keep our eyes closed so that everyone can feel safe. Let’s go!
