Relaxation

Time required: 5 min

Ask everyone in the group to lie down on the floor/ground, let the participant have their arms and legs relaxed against the ground, ask the participants to close their eyes (if they can). Turn on the music.

Guide participants in their inhalation and exhalation. Ask them to breathe in and out through their nose at a fixed rate, for example counting to 5 on inhalation and to 5 again on exhalation. After a while, they can move on to continuing the breathing rhythm on their own.

Relax and listen

Before we go home, we will finish with a relaxation exercise. For this, I ask you to lie down on the floor/ground. Stretch out your arms and legs and relax. If you can, close your eyes. I will then put on calm music and then ask you to listen to your breathing.
